Wow, knowing this just made my life worse. It made things regarding researching way complicated that it was before. Well, it's better to do things the complicated proper way than being put to jail.

Haha! I remember liking the fan page in Facebook that says "whoever discovered the copy-paste style saved a lot of time". Okay, so now my life got more complicated.

Plagiarism IS wrong because you're stealing the intellectual property of other people but I think the rules and punishments are too strict

what if your sources are from forums...
where people have screen names.

you can't just name the source as 'Dogmarch' or 'Megaman ZeroX218568'...

Plagiarism is synonymous to stealing because you are trying to get the ideas of other people and claiming it as your own. It is a bad practice among students.

Agree. Jail is not a good place for anybody. It's better to spend hours infront of the computer, trying to write an essay or other stuff than to be put in jail for years.

@Aguas, No wonder you're under the list of consistent cheaters.

Though I don't think all teachers on high school check on the students research papers for plagiarism.

Search engines make my life comfortable and easy..

We all say plagiarism is a crime,but we keep doing it(I mean i keep doing it )

everyone is guilty of plagiarism. right?

Agree. Jail is not a good place for anybody. It's better to spend hours infront of the computer, trying to write an essay or other stuff than to be put in jail for years.

Jail is good for criminals...it makes them a better person...

Plagiarism IS bad....it makes people lazy..XD

when you right an essay, don't steal the ideal of others..just understand it so that you'll have your own idea.
