i agree with that because if we copy someone's work then we tend to limit on one idea and our ideas don't usually get incorporated.

Re: @303 On plagiarism and best online researching techniques and search engines
We should respect the works of other people. Plagiarism is a form of cheating. Not only is plagiarism punishable by our law, it is also punishable by God's law. When we plagiarize, we violate the commandment: 'Thou shall not steal.'
Let's give our minds some exercise. Instead of the usual ''copy-paste'', try to read some books and answer your homework based on your own understanding. If you really need to use a certain article from the Internet or some book, be sure to mention the author or the link.

yah..
If we work hard in something and found out that somebody claimed it, of course, we will be mad. We do our best and somebody will just copy it.

I agree on that....haha..damn so guilty with my self.....
Marco. You should never be guilty because you didn't know it. Next time, think about it so that you may avoid plagiarism.

If we keep on copying other people's work then we won't learn anything. What's the point of going to school if we're not learning anything. Keeping our ideas original will help us for the future.

Now that we know that plagiarisim is bad, we can now inform those who don't know about it and give them tips on how they can avoid it and also inform them that there could be some punishments if we are caught plagarizing rar!

You're right, Mau.
I mean, how would you feel if someone copied a poem you wrote or a song you composed without even asking permission or acknowledging you? We would all feel bad if that happened to us.

daryl's view about plagiarism
People really deserve a credit for their own hard work. This "credit" would really persuade this people to do more and better works.

PLAGIARISM is STEALING!... STEALING is a CRIME
You ask why plagiarism is STEALING? Because when a person tends to plagiarize.. He/She copies the work of a person without giving credit to the one that owns it. Moreover, When one plagiarizes He/She claims the work of a person without permission. Remember! every crime committed requires a punishment.
So, still want to practice plagiarism? Worst case scenario, you'll be in jail . Try to avoid plagiarism or you'll regret it in the end .

This happens too much around schools too. The tendency is to copy someone elses work not knowing how to do it themselves. Then when a long test comes the one who copies is dead meat.

no to plagiarism! XD
plagiarism is bad. It can result to penalties, like failing grades or maybe imprisoned. We should use our own ideas and not copy others ideas.

Say NO to Plagiarism!
Plagiarism is also a work done by a timid person who tries to get rid of doing what should be done. It should be stopped because it is not good, mostly for the students who were capable of doing paper works. Being specific, for the graduating students who were doing research papers and Investigatory Projects.
Re: @303 On plagiarism and best online researching techniques and search engines
if you don't read, you don't learn!
so let's all practice reading so we can have our own ideas
Plagiarism is like asking the answer to your classmate but when your teacher asked you to explain your answer, all you do is make "palusot" cause its not your OWN answer

Plagiarism can be classified as good or bad....
Good, because it helps students to learn more and get information where they can learn from it,apply in life and share with other people, their friends, classmates, etc. This can be a way to show other people how we appreciate their work.
Bad, for some people get ideas of others which they will consider as their own when they have shared it with other people. Some may not give credit to the original person who made the information.

Plagiarism is serious because it's not just copying or stealing someone else's work but proving others that the person engaged in plagiarism degrades himself that he is not proud of his own thoughts.

i agree C-ZA most of the students, are depending on their classmates when having an assignment, we should exert our own effort, and BE ASHAMED OF COPYING OTHER'S WORKS!! plagiarism is a crime
