internet vs. books

i have learned that internet information from the internet are not that realable because there are no one incharge on checking if the information are correct compared to books which are being edited by professionals, But interms of updates internet is better than books.
Also it is so hard to use books in researching compared to internet....... Very Happy

i never imagined that plagiarism is a sin, and in fact plagiarism can also change lives in away that you can also ruin your own reputation by just copying someone's work.

We should always be aware of the things that we can get from searching in the internet. I did not know that copying things from the internet is a big sin. Using pictures and videos of others without their consent is also Plagiarism. In doing your research papers you must keep in mind to state your sources, its like our way of thanking them or giving them credit for the information they gave. Never say that something is yours once that you have only copied it. Copying and Pasting, I never knew it was a very big deal when it comes to the copy right. But if they do not want their works to be copied then why do they post their works online?for just references? but still some will be tempted to copy it. How about the uneducated? do they know what Plagiarism is? if not then they still do it. How can it be prevented? well, you must use your own words and state such sources that you have used. Plagiarism can have a very big effect on us, when it comes to a bigger issue we can even end up in jail! Of course we want to make life simpler, right?so why do it the hard way when there is an easy way. Most of the time the hard way is the right thing to do, we must work hard for something because if we copy something and get a high score we will not be satisfied because we know that it was not our work. But if you choose the easy way or easy solutions to your problem, at most times the easy way is to copy or imitate something. HARD way= Good, EASY way= Bad.. Smile

Nowadays, people experiences such an easy life because of the technology made by us, the human beings. Because of this, people are becoming more dependent on these vast range of resources. Like the Internet, people just research on search engines like Google or Yahoo then after the results were displayed, most tend to visit the site and just copy the details written there. Most do not noticed that they are already committing the act of Plagiarism. Plagiarism is an act wherein you copy someone's work without their given permission. I, being a student, had already committed this kind of unexcusable act. I learned in this lesson that it is not right to take someone's work from them especially without their permission. We were given the chance to study- capable of writting, reading, analyzing and many more so why don't we use them for our own good??

don't forget that this doesnt mean you can't print stuff on the internet anymore. just remember the rules, ask for permission, and credit the author.
